Volunteer
Bowery Film Festival is now accepting volunteer applications, to join our team! Volunteer activities will include setting up at our screening venues, ticket ushering, hospitality servicing, event & merchandise table operations, coordinating interviews, setting up special presentations and after-parties.
We’re looking for reliable, professional, and friendly crew members to work during various days & times throughout the festival’s run. As a member of the Bowery Film Festival team you’ll have the opportunity to experience firsthand how Bowery Film Festival operates by working alongside festival core staff.
Volunteer members are entry level positions that may experience heavy activity with occasional downtime. Shifts average from 3 to 6 hours per day. Volunteers will be expected to take on different responsibilities throughout the course of their shift. (Applicants who feel they have special skills that may be beneficial to our team [e.g., Photography, Sales & Marketing, Cold Calling, Public Relations, Videography, etc.] may list those under the ‘SKILLS’ section to be considered for a permanent position within our team.)
Upon completion of services, verification letter and certificate will be available to student volunteers upon request.
